A guest seminar by Professor Renato Macciotta was held on 12 April 2019 at the School of Civil Engineering within the University of Queensland (UQ, Brisbane) targeting “Uncertainty and Probability in Rock Slopes Stability Assessment and Design”. The lecture presented an overview of sources of uncertainty in rock slope analysis (including Model Uncertainty, Parameter Uncertainty and Human uncertainty), and further discussed how can slope performance influence criteria for PoF and FoS.
